Powerful Drums is dedicated to the pursuit of the highest quality
in African drums and percussion, paired with the preservation of
traditional craftsmanship techniques.
Founded by Samuel N Yeboah, (also known as Powerful), a Ghanaian
musical instrument making craftsman/musician. Working together with
family and other Fair-trade instrument makers, and musicians, to
produce some of the finest African drums and percussions for sale in
Africa, and around the world.
Much love and attention goes into making all our musical instruments.

We offer African drumming, song and dance workshops to schools, colleges, communities, businesses, or any group of people who are interested in African culture.
Powerful drums can create a fun and educational workshop with anyone, anywhere. We have many years experience in running workshops in schools and other communities around the UK and beyond. Workshops can be tailored to suit your particular requirements. We also run talks about Africa, exhibitions of artefacts, textiles, beads and other handicraft from Ghana, West Africa.

Cultural Visits to Ghana
Whether you are an individual or group of people, if you want to visit Ghana to study music, dance, instrument making, or simply mix with the people, to experience the true Africa, work in schools, orphanages, hospitals, visit historic sights and attractions.
